About me

“Real change begins in silence – where we hear ourselves.”
I am Claudia Partos, a psychologist. In my work, I consider it important to balance professional knowledge with an authentic, human presence.
I studied psychology at ELTE and BME, specializing in cognitive and neuropsychology. I am currently continuing my education at the Integrative Psychotherapy Association and the International Schema Therapy Association. These approaches shape my perspective.
In recent years, I have participated in over 250 hours of self-awareness work, both in psychodrama groups and in individual therapy. I believe that only those who have walked the path of self-discovery can authentically guide others.
My therapeutic approach
My guiding principle is “here and now”, which simply means sharing our raw and honest thoughts and feelings about what is happening in the moment. I strive for openness and transparency and encourage my clients to do the same.
I represent an integrative approach, which assumes a general view of the human being common to all therapeutic theories, and a generally accepted view of the internal processes of the individual. This allows me to choose tools in a way that is appropriate for the given situation and person.
Existential issues – such as freedom, responsibility or the meaning of life – play a prominent role in my thinking. I see the inevitable storms of life as natural stages of human development and I believe it is important for us to learn how to maintain our balance in this swirling, changing and sometimes painful world.
Due to my scientific background, it is important for me to base my methods on professional foundations, but at the same time my main goal is always to create an accepting, safe space in which real connection and development can take place.
